Emanuela Carta is a postdoctoral research fellow at theUniversity of Graz, working in the FWF Cluster of Excellence Knowledge in Crisis project. Her research explores questions at the intersection of phenomenology, ethics, epistemology, and feminist philosophy. She focuses in particular on the justification of non-doxastic states (especially emotions)and the ethics of doubt, both examined from a phenomenological perspective. In addition, she is working on a novel reading of Husserl’s ethics, aiming to underline its sentimentalist and consequentialist elements, and on providing phenomenological insights into the project of conceptual amelioration.
