Vittorio Catalano is a PhD student at the University of Vienna. His interests include the social philosophy of language (applied speech act theory), social ontology and the philosophy of economics (e.g. the game theoretic approach to the modelling of the social world). His project focuses on the normative aspects of contested social institutions and the role speech could play in affecting them.
