Herwig Grimm completed his PhD at the Hochschule für Philosophie SJ in Munich in 2010. From 2004 to 2011, he worked as a research associate at the Institute for Technology-Theology-Natural Sciences at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. His academic journey began with studies in philosophy, focusing on ethics and applied ethics, at the universities of Salzburg, Zurich, and Munich from 2000 to 2008.
